Thanks to your support, we have recently completed two projects in Southeast Asia!

We partnered with Room to Read to set up three reading rooms in Laos. We visited one of the new reading rooms and met with the community members who are now able to use this resource. It was amazing to see how the staff and children were using the new materials they had been given! The children put on a play for us using a story from one of the new books in their library, and we spent time drawing pictures with them and talking to the leaders of their community. You can see pictures from our visit here:

In Cambodia we partnered with American Assistance for Cambodia and the Cambodian government to fund The Ian Tilden School, named in honor of Doug Tilden’s late son. Before the construction of the school, older students had to walk six kilometers to one further away, and many didn’t continue school for this reason. Now these young adults have a brand new school building closer to home, and can continue getting an education. On our visit to the school we met we the students, saw the new school building, and were very impressed by their dedication to their studies. You can see pictures from this project here:

Thank you so much for your ongoing support! We look forward to sharing more news of our projects with you.
