Mary Hilton founded Kids for Peace Camp after September 11th, 2001 in order to create a more peaceful future.
Kids for Peace Camp teaches children, ages 6-14, about the world in a way that’s both educational and fun. Each week, campers learn about a different part of the world and immerse themselves in those cultures through music, art, world studies, games, cooking, drama, folktales, dance and more. Campers gain peacemaking skills and look at serious issue that threaten peace and justice around the world. To enhance their cultural experiences, campers will have the opportunity to visit local parks, museums, and attractions each week.
