My trip finally began! I left my home, family, and friends behind Monday night to come stay with Teresa and her family and help get things moving. Saying goodbye to everyone was incredibly hard. I can’t believe how much I already miss everybody at home! But it will get easier, and I’ll be back before I know it 
I left SLC on Monday night around midnight. I was tired, but couldn’t sleep for most of the flight. I flew in to New York first, where I waited for about an hour for my flight to Boston. Apparently I was sleepier than I thought, because I fell asleep before we even took off and didn’t wake up until we landed! I got off and quickly found Teresa, Jen, Bella, and Alex waiting for me. It’s great to finally be with them! I can’t believe we leave for Russia in a week and a half! It will be here before we know it.
